Sharon Helene Mominee-Peters- Knowlton, 66 of Lambertville, MI, died Friday, September 21, 2018, at Genesis of Sylvania. Born August 7, 1952, in Toledo, Ohio, she was the daughter of Harold and Helene (Gospodarek) Mominee. A 1970 graduate from St, Mary’s High School in Monroe, she was employed as bookkeeper for Food town in Lambertville for 30 years. Sharon enjoyed gardening and time spent with her grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by her loving husband of 15 years, Michael L. Knowlton; daughter, Kristyn Peters and step-daughter, Cassandra Knowlton brother; Daniel (Lisa) Mominee; sisters, Georjeanne (Ted) Taylor, Terrie (Steve) Ball and Jennifer (Paul) Kluczynski; grandchildren Ethan, Logan and Allie. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be held from 3- 8 pm, Wednesday, September 26, 2018, at the Michael W. Pawlak Funeral Home, 1640 Smith Rd. (at Jackman) Temperance, MI, where the rosary will be recited at 7:00 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2214 Manhattan Street, Erie, MI, where she will lie in state after 10:00 am.
